Our History

Pasta Romana is a family-run company founded in 1996, which explains why all our specialties are prepared just like home-made recipes with no compromise on quality.

Our dishes are cooked for you by a team of artisans trained in Italy to deliver catering-quality meals ready in less than 10 minutes:

  • Our fresh pasta is made according to exacting standards with 100% durum semolina and fresh eggs for a richer colour and decreased cooking time.
  • The wines and cheeses we use are all proudly made locally, or imported from Italy, as is our Romano and Parmigiano Reggiano.
  • All our vegetables, herbs and condiments still resonate with the freshness, colour and aroma of the garden.

Above all, our foods are prepared in true homestyle tradition, in small batches without artificial colour or flavour.

Our native village of Casacalenda is surrounded by fields of wheat interspersed with rows of olive trees; this way of farming is characteristic of Molise, a region of Italy renowned for its history, its food and of course, its delectable olive oil.


Our pasta is made according to Italian culinary tradition. We use more eggs and a higher moisture content than any other pasta brand. Taste and discover the perfect texture of Pasta Romana. Gently simmered! Our sauces are prepared in small batches from the freshest ingredients.
